PRODUCtion

Beats built for one artist. You bring references and a direction; I come back with an arrangement you can write to inside a week — not a two-bar loop on repeat.

[WHAT'S INCLUDED]

EVERY time

  • A full arrangement — intro, verses, switch-up, space for the hook
  • Sound selection and drum programming to your reference
  • Trackout stems, labelled and consolidated from bar one
  • Tagged MP3 for writing plus clean files on delivery
  • Session tempo map and key noted in the filenames
  • A rough mix so you can hear where it's going
[RATES]

WHAT IT costs

Half up front, half on delivery. If the first pass isn't right and we can't fix it in revisions, the deposit comes back.

[PROCESS]

HOW IT goes

Four steps, about a week for a single beat. You'll always know which one we're on.

  1. 001

    BRIEF

You send references, a tempo range and whatever's already recorded. I come back with what I'd do and what it costs. No deposit until we agree on direction.

  2. 002

    FIRST PASS

You get a full arrangement inside a week — not a loop. Enough structure to write to, with the drops and switch-ups already in place.

  3. 003

    REVISIONS

Notes come back in one round, in plain language. I move fast on structure, sound selection and energy; I don't nickel-and-dime revision counts.

  4. 004

    DELIVERY

Trackout stems, a tagged MP3 and the session tempo map. Files named the way an engineer wants to receive them.

[QUESTIONS]

ASKED often

DO I OWN THE BEAT?

On the exclusive tier, yes — the beat comes off the store and it's yours, with a signed agreement. Custom beats come with a non-exclusive license that you can upgrade to exclusive at any point for the difference in price.

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME TO START?

Three reference tracks, a tempo range, and a rough voice memo if you already have a flow in mind. That's genuinely enough. If you don't have references, we get on a call and find them together.

HOW ARE PUBLISHING SPLITS HANDLED?

Standard is 50/50 on publishing for produced records, which is the norm for hip hop production. It's written into the agreement before any money moves, and it's negotiable on package deals.

CAN YOU MATCH A SPECIFIC PRODUCER'S SOUND?

I can get you in the neighbourhood and then make it yours. Straight cloning is a waste of both our time — the point of custom work is that it sounds like you, not like the reference.

[NEXT STEP]

SEND ME THE references

Three tracks and a tempo range is enough to start. I'll tell you what I'd do with it and what it costs before you pay anything.
