WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LICENSES?
MP3, WAV and trackout carry the same usage rights — unlimited streams and distribution, radio play and for-profit live shows, worldwide, for ten years. What changes is the files: MP3 is the untagged mixdown, WAV is the studio-quality master, and trackout adds the full stems so your engineer can mix it. Exclusive is a different thing entirely: rights are assigned to you in perpetuity, you can cut unlimited masters instead of one, and the beat leaves the store — I stop using it as well.
CAN I RELEASE A LEASED BEAT TO SPOTIFY?
Yes, on any paid lease, with no stream limit. The license asks you to credit Nuken as producer and writer on the release — track title, metadata or digital label. Each lease covers one master recording and runs for ten years, and you keep 90% of the publishing.
IS THE MP3 FREE OR PAID?
Paid. There are no free downloads on the store any more, tagged or otherwise. The MP3 license is the untagged file with the same usage rights as the WAV, and it's offered on the recent beats — the older ones start at WAV instead. If you want something for nothing, there is one free beat on the home page, swapped for a new one every month.
