YOURS TO use
Every free beat comes with this license attached. You don't have to ask, sign anything, or wonder whether you're allowed to put the song out — downloading the beat is what puts this in place.
- PRICE
- Free
- No fee, no card, nothing owed up front.
- THE FILE
- Producer tagged
- The voice tag is in the beat and stays in the song. Want it clean, that's a paid license.
- STREAM LIMIT
- 500,000
- Counted across every platform together. Past 500,000, buy a paid license to carry on.
- PUBLISHING
- 80 / 20
- You keep 80% of the publishing on the finished song. 20% stays with me.
- LICENSE NATURE
- Non-exclusive
- I keep the beat and can license it to other artists too.
- MASTER RECORDINGS
- 1 recording
- One song per free beat. Want a second, take another license.
- Record one new song over the beat and release it commercially, tag and all.
- Put that song on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and every other streaming and download store.
- Monetise the video, and run it as an ad or on social.
- Play it on radio, and perform the song live, including at shows you're paid for.
- Keep 100% of your own vocal and lyric.
- Resell, re-license, or give the beat file away, on its own or in a pack.
- Register the beat by itself with a PRO, a distributor, or a Content ID system.
- Claim you produced it, or credit it to anyone else.
- Use it in a beat store, sample pack, or as a sample for another producer.
- Remove, mute, edit around or bury the producer tag.
- Register the finished song in a way that blocks me from licensing the beat to anyone else.
CREDIT
Name me as producer wherever the song appears — prod by NUKEN in the release credits and the track metadata, on every platform you put it on. Not one of them, all of them.
THE TAG STAYS IN
Free beats come with my producer tag in the mix, and it stays in the song you release. Cutting it out, muting it or mixing it under isn't covered by this license. If you want the beat clean, that's what the paid licenses are for.
PUBLISHING
You keep 80% of the publishing on the finished song. 20% stays with me as the writer of the underlying music.
WHO OWNS WHAT
Your vocal, your lyrics and your recording are yours. The beat stays mine — you're licensed to use it, not buying it.
WHAT HAPPENS AT 500,000
Nothing is taken down and nobody comes after you. The free license simply stops covering you past 500,000 streams, and it's on you to pick up a paid license on the store so the release stays cleared. If a song gets that far, message me and we'll sort it out.
TERM
Ten years from the day you download it, worldwide, or until you pass 500,000 streams — whichever comes first.
IF IN DOUBT
Ask before you release rather than after. I'd far rather answer a question than unpick a problem.
Past the limit, or want the stems, the untagged WAV, or the beat taken off the store entirely? The paid licenses are on the store.
